Privacy Policy

WireMetric is a calculation aid with locally stored work data and banner advertising. It does not require an account and does not send project, profile, calculation, client, or site data to the advertising service.

Information stored on your device

Projects, conductor profiles, and calculation history are stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This information is not automatically uploaded or synchronized by WireMetric. It remains on the device until you delete individual entries or remove the app, subject to backup and device-management settings controlled by you or Apple.

Advertising and automatically processed data

WireMetric uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner ads. When advertising is available, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect or process information such as IP address (which may indicate general location), device or app identifiers, advertising data, interactions with the app or ads, crash logs, performance data, and other diagnostic information. This information may be used for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and—where permitted by your consent and settings—ad personalization.

The exact processing depends on your region, consent choices, device settings, and whether an ad is available. See Google’s Privacy & Terms and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

WireMetric does not provide saved projects, conductor profiles, calculations, client or site names, circuit names, or notes to Google Mobile Ads. The app does not include a separate analytics SDK, account system, or cloud synchronization service.

Consent and advertising choices

WireMetric uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request or refresh consent information and display a consent message where required. Available choices can be reviewed from Settings > Ad privacy choices. The options shown depend on regional requirements and the messages configured for the app by the developer.

User-initiated sharing

When you tap Share, WireMetric opens the iOS share sheet. You choose the destination and whether to send the content. Data sent through a selected third-party app or service is handled under that provider’s privacy practices.

Contact Support

Contact Support opens an email draft addressed to support@passmate.jp. The draft includes the app version, build number, iOS version, and device model to help diagnose problems. It does not automatically attach projects, calculations, profiles, notes, client information, or site information.

You can review and edit the message before sending it. If you send the email, the developer receives your email address, message, and the diagnostics left in the draft and uses them to respond to and resolve your request. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal obligations. Your email provider also handles the message under its own privacy practices.

Data disclosure and sale

The developer does not sell locally stored project or calculation data. WireMetric does not disclose that locally stored app data to third parties unless you explicitly choose to share it, or disclosure is required by law. Google and its advertising partners process advertising-related data under their own terms and privacy policies as described above.

Security and your choices

You control the information entered into WireMetric and may edit or delete saved entries in the app. Avoid entering personal or confidential information that is not needed for your work. No storage method can guarantee absolute security, including storage on a device.

Policy website hosting

This policy page is hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub may process standard website access information under its own privacy statement. Visiting this page is separate from using the WireMetric app; the app does not load this page unless you choose the Privacy Policy link.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app’s features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
